What Spliinter stores
Spliinter is a real-time word game. During a game, the server temporarily stores room codes, usernames, connection details, submitted words, scores, and game state in memory so the game can work. This data is normally removed when the room closes or the server restarts.
Browser storage
Spliinter uses session storage to remember your username and reconnect you to a room in the same browser tab. The consent choice is stored in local storage. These are not advertising cookies. You can clear them through your browser settings.
Advertising and analytics
At launch, Spliinter does not load advertising or analytics services. If advertising or analytics is added later, non-essential technologies will be loaded only after consent where required by law, and this policy will be updated.
Service providers
Spliinter may be hosted by a cloud provider and may use infrastructure providers to deliver the website and real-time connections. Those providers may process technical information such as IP address and connection logs to operate and secure the service.
